You can pay for your fare either directly through our app or with your credit/debit card in our taxis. This allows you to go about your day and/or night without having to remember to save that last note or final few coins in your pocket. We do of course happily accept cash still too.

Computerised Booking System

At Place2Place, all taxis are tracked via GPS through our computerised booking system. This means that we are able to offer a precise location and arrival time for your taxi. You need not wait around in the wet and cold for your taxi; instead, sit inside where it is warm, dry and safe and we will notify you via our app or text message when your taxi has arrived giving you your drivers name, vehicle type and colour and also a picture of them for added security.

When your taxi is dispatched you will receive a link which enables you to track their progress to you, this serves to further add peace of mind to all our customers.

You can download the Place2Place smartphone app for iOS and Android devices now through our website. Our app will tell you exactly how far away your driver is, how long you should expect your journey to take, a rough guide to your fare and information about your driver including a picture of them and their vehicle type, colour & registration number. As we offer a cashless service, you can also pay for your fare via the app with your credit/debit card which will automatically be charged at the end of your journey.
